There are a number of ways to fund your child's Occupational Therapy.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
TOTS can provide services to Self and Plan Managed participants of the NDIS.

Fees for NDIS clients are:
Plan Managed participants – $193.99 per hour for Occupational Therapy
Travel is charged at 50% of the hourly rate of the service provided. Travel is capped according to the NDIS travel guidelines, based on the appointment location.
Self-Managed Participants – $200 per hour
Travel at $200 per hour
Kilometre rate of $1.00 per kilometre
Private Health Insurance
A large number of private health insurers provide a rebate for occupational therapy services. Please contact your health fund directly to confirm your level of cover and eligibility for rebates.
**Please note you are unable to claim a rebate from both Medicare AND your private health insurance. A gap payment will apply for private health insurance clients.
Fees for Private Health Insurance clients are $200.00 per hour
Travel is charged at the same hourly rate as the service provided
Kilometre rate of $1.00 per kilometre
Full payment for services is required. A receipt will be issued to enable the client to claim back from their private health insurer
Medicare
TOTS is able to provide services covered by funding under Medicare with appropriate doctor’s referral. Please view the following link for more information:

Please note a gap payment will apply for all Medicare clients
